To me, family pictures aren't about the perfect outfits, the perfect location, the perfect expressions. The pictures I'm drawn to, that make me feel something, when I look through old family albums, are the ones that stir a memory.
Your home, your "weekend clothes", your lazy Sunday afternoon traditions are enough, and there is value in documenting it all (clutter and dust bunnies be damned!). Your home is where you laugh together, cry and argue together, make meals and make memories together. Is there really a more perfect place to be photographer together?
Driscoll family - thank you for trusting me to capture your 'here and now' - it was magical, and I hope you enjoy and treasure your images for years to come.
